Getting there
Gopalpur is located 170 kilometers south of the capital city of Bhubaneswar and 15 kilometers to the north of Berhampur, a major city on the east coast.
By Air

By Rail
Berhampur, 15 km away, is the rail station nearest to Gopalpur and an important one on the South Eastern Railway, linking Vizag in the South and Bhubaneswar to the north. Taking a train to Berhampur has its own attraction. For a good part of the journey, the train runs along the shores of the spectacular Chilka lake. Of course, you would need to take a day train to enjoy the ride.

Berhampur is 15 km from Gopalpur , from where regular bus service is always available. You may also be able to hire taxis to take you to Gopalpur. If you are coming to Gopalpur directly from Bhubaneswar by road, you may wish to check with the Orissa Tourism office for any bus service.
